The Dogtra YS600 is a vibration activated static electric bark control collar suitable for large, stubborn working breeds from 15kg. With its highly accurate bark sensor, the YS600 comes in a durable sleek design that is powerful yet smaller and lighter than previous collars.
The Dogtra YS600 is a little bulkier in size compared to other electric collars and delivers stimulation levels suitable for medium to large, stubborn dogs.
Suitable for dogs over 15kg (based on adult dog) including, but not limited to the following breeds:
The Dogtra YS600 delivers a static correction at the level you set. Simply turn the dial on the top of the module to the level you want.
10 static Electric Stimulation Levels (1-10)
The YS600 will have a dial to manually set the level of stimulation from 1 to 10 to cover stubborn dogs above 15kg. The collar will activate on the first bark, then there is a cooldown period where the collar won't go off for about 15 seconds. It is recommended to start on level 1 for all dogs then turn up as needed to match the dog's drive to bark.
Vibration/Paging Option (P)
On this mode, the collar will vibrate twice when your dog barks and has a more vibrant sensation than any traditional pager.
Test Mode (T)
This mode allows you to test to see if the collar is working properly, by vibrating once activated, using the cap end of a ballpoint pen and scratch between the contact points.
Rapid Charge Battery
The Dogtra YS600 has an improved rapid-charge battery that only requires a 2-hour charge which lasts approximately 4 weeks with average use. The battery indicator light appears green when the charge is full, amber when the charge is starting to decrease and red when the collar needs to be charged immediately. The indicator light will flash every 4 seconds when the collar is turned on. The collar goes into sleep mode after 30 seconds of silence - this will also turn off the battery indicator.
Persistent Bark Indicator
A new feature of the YS600, when turning the module off, if the indicator light flashes green for 10 seconds, this means that persistent activation had been recorded. This could be caused by a loose fit or by the correction level being set too low for your dog's drive.
