Hints and Tips No. 11 Make Sure Your Remote Training Collar has all the Features You Want!

At Bark Control we have recently noticed a lot of customers looking to buy a Dog Training Collar after having already purchased one that did not allow them to upgrade down the track as their needs changed.

For example many farmers or hunters prefer a dog training collar where extra collars can be added down the track. Some brands do not offer this and you are required to buy a whole new e-collar system. Other brands allow you to add another training collar whenever you like at a fraction of the price. The SportDog SD 1825 allows you to expand out to 6 dogs. Adding another collar whenever you like.

Deluxe version of the Standard Multivet Kit. Longer life battery, Low Fluid Indicator and low and high spray setting mean extra features. However a big plus is the contoured shape of the unit. Runs horizontally across the neck so fits better especially on smaller dogs from 5kg.

Multivet Deluxe Anti Barking Collar Kit (also known as the PetSafe Deluxe Anti Barking Collar)

The Anti-Bark Spray Collar Deluxe is highly efficient because it distracts the animal’s primary sensory perceptions in a harmless, painless way. It is scientifically proven to be the most effective, the quickest and the most viable solution for the problem of nuisance barking.

The system works automatically and requires no human intervention. Your dog will stop barking while wearing the collar. However, the effect of the Anti-Bark Spray Collar is not permanent.

If you stop using the collar, your dog will eventually resume barking. In order to reduce barking permanently without constantly using the
device, you will have to combine the Anti-Bark Spray Collar with proper training and elements of behaviour modification.
