The Tri-Tronics Bark Limiter G3 is a small and lightweight bark collar that is known for its effectiveness and reliability. The G3 can be easily worn by dogs 5kg and up, and can be manually set to match your dog's temperament and drive to stop barking. The Tri-Tronics G3 is 45.72mm wide, 25.4mm deep and 25.4mm high (not including the probes), and the strap is large enough to go around a 65cm neck (by using an additional strap you can extend this further). This waerproof bark collar uses a 3V CR2 battery (included) that will last 4-6 months.
The new "Sleep Mode" function gets the Bark Limiter G3 to go into a sleep mode when your dog is lying still for more than 30 seconds. This will help extend your battery life, as the collar is not using power when your dog is resting/asleep. As soon as your dog moves or barks, the collar returns to its normal operating function.
The Tri-Tronics Bark Odometer feature records the number of times your dog barks whilst wearing the collar for a day. This is great just to get an idea of the amount of barking that is occurring, but also a great way to ensure that you have the collar set to the best suited correction level for your dog. When you take the G3 Bark Limiter off your dog and start turning it off, just before it completely shuts down, the red indicator light will blink/flash how many times your dog barked (and as corrected if at the appropriate level). This way you have a ready analysis of if your collar is being effective or not. If there is too much dog barking, you will need to increase the correction level. If the collar shows there was no need to stop barking, you are on the right level or may even consider lowering it if you think if will remain effective, either way the Bark Odometer will let you know.
