If your neighbor’s dog is driving you bonkers with his barking, discreet help is here! The PetSafe ultrasonic outdoor bark control unit looks like an ordinary birdhouse that can hang in a tree, on a fence post or anywhere outside.
It detects barking from up to 15 metres (50 feet) and whenever your dog or your neighbor’s dog barks within range, it will hear a high pitched sound (inaudible to humans) that will cue it to reduce the annoying habit.

Best results are expected with smaller to medium dogs but this unit can work for any dogs that are not deaf or hearing impaired.
An internal microphone picks up barking from up to 15 metres away and activates the ultrasonic signal. The unpleasant (but inaudible to humans) sound stops when the dog stops barking. The dog associates the unpleasant noise with its barking and reduces its barking to avoid the sound.
The unit can be hung up (maximum recommended height is 1.5 metres), attached to trees, posts and so on or placed freestanding and looks like a bird house so if it is used for neighbours' dogs, they will not be aware that it is helping to control the barking.
It should be set up so that the speaker faces the dog and without physical barriers such as fences between it and the dog and barking should be reduced within 2 weeks.
