Indoor Containment Systems

We have three systems, one Citronella (Spray Barrier) and two electronic (PetSafe Indoor Fence and Innotek Zones). All are safe, easy to set up and very effective. Your pets do not need training for these systems to work.

They can be used to keep pets out of baby’s room and so on or away from certain parts of your home. Another use is to keep pets inside by controlling access to open windows and doorways.

All of the systems are available as kits or as components. They can be used for as many pets as you have (each pet needs a receiver collar, available separately) and any number of transmitters can be set up to protect different rooms, doorways or spaces.

Operation. Just place the small, Frisbee sized, disc shaped transmitter near the area you want to protect. Then adjust the range of its radio signal from as little as 600mm. (2 feet) up to 3 metres (10 feet), to suit.

Extra transmitters can be purchased if you need to protect additional areas from pets.

If your pet gets too close to the signal a warning beep sounds on his receiver. If he continues to approach the protected area, a mild static or Citronella spray correction is given and he will turn away. Pets quickly learn where the Warning and Correction Zone boundaries are and stay clear of them.

ABS’s Citronella Spray Barrier uses the same receiver collars as Virtual Fence, the outdoor Citronella containment system so your pet can be kept safe in the yard and have controlled indoor access while wearing one collar.

PetSafe’s Indoor Fence and its outdoor system, Radio Fence also use common receiver collars and your pet can be kept safe in the yard and have controlled indoor access while wearing one collar.

Innotek’s Zones system uses unique collars. However, it is inexpensive and battery operated so it can be set up even in areas without mains power.
