The Aussie Shepherd is a great dog, whether as a family pet, a working dog or for agility and trials. Their good health, temperament and intelligence is seeing a rise in the popularity of this breed. The Aussie Shepherd is just as happy as a pet as it is out in the field. If you are looking at this breed for a pet, please note a good daily exercise regime (and a high fence) is recommended. Regular grooming is also important due to the length of their coat.They come in a number of colours, stand about 55cm high and usually live up to 14 years

Bark Collars For Australian Shepherds
As a working breed dog, the Australian Shepherds is highly energetic with a high level of drive and determination. Vibration, Ultrasonic or Citronella collars are not well suited to Aussie Shepherds. These collars are just no match for a highly determined dog and long coats can also work against spray collars.
It is recommended that owners of working breed dogs look to a quality static/electric barking collar for best results. I
