At Bark Control Australia we take internet security very seriously.  We utilise the best in SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which cannot be breached by hackers.  You can view the GeoTrust SSL certificate in the left column of our website.  This ensures server security.
We also use eWAY and the Commonwealth Bank to ensure our website is a safe place to use your credit card.

How much is shipping?

At Bark Control Australia we offer the fairest shipping rates around.  We believe in a flat shipping rate no matter where you are in Australia!  We also believe a single flat shipping rate for ALL items is not fair when you are just ordering replacement batteries for example.  The table below is indicative of the cost of shipping for most items based on weight.  You can check the shipping charge at anytime on the top right of any product page.  Priority Express Post can be selected as a further option on most products.

How will my parcel be sent?

At Bark Control Australia we utilize the Australia Post E-Parcel System to deliver most of our products.  If your order is especially urgent you can choose to have your parcel shipped Express Parcel Post for faster delivery.  Due to the value of some of our products we require a signature at collection on all E-Parcel and Express Parcel Post packages.  Alternatively, if you are not home a slip will be left and the parcel collected from your nearest Post Office.

For small items that are less than 20mm thick, we now offer a cheaper shipping method that requires no signature and will be posted to your letterbox. The Item size will determine if you have that option.

When will my product be dispatched?

If your order is placed before 2pm AEST on any business day, your parcel will be dispatched that same day!  This means that we can ship to over 80% of Australia overnight, if Express Parcel Post is your chosen shipping method.  Click here to check if you are within Australia Post's Next Day Delivery Zone.  Don't worry if you are just outside the next day zone, Express Post will still get the item there on the fastest track possible!

Orders placed after 2pm or on the weekends are dispatched next business day guaranteed!  **This may exclude items that are temporarily out of stock and custom product orders.

How long will my order take to be delivered?

This depends on when you place your order, your location and the method of delivery you choose.  80% of the population can have orders overnight if ordered before 2pm AEST that same business day.  Alternatively, remote areas can take up to 7 business days for delivery.

Items that are on back order will be dispatched as soon as possible upon the arrival of the item.

We ship throughout Australia and its territories.  Please contact us us if you are outside Australia and wish to order our products.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?

At Bark Control Australia we offer an unconditional, no questions asked 60-day money back guarantee on all unused and unopened items, we stock.

If you get the product home and decide you do not want to keep it or your circumstances change between purchasing and the product arriving you have the option to return it to us.

You will need to contact us on 1300 668 931 within the 60-day time period and request an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorisation Number). To be eligible for your refund, your product MUST be returned to our mailing address (19/33-43 Meakin Road Meadowbrook, QLD, 4131) within 14 days of receiving the RMA. As soon as we receive the product, we will process your refund.

A processing fee of 5% of the purchase price will be charged on all returned items.

If your order is paid via Afterpay, a 5% processing fee is charged on the total cost of the order.

Any item that has been removed from its original packaging and/or used in any way is not covered by our 60-day money back
guarantee policy.
  However, you may be covered by our performance guarantee below.

What is your Performance Guarantee?

If the product does not do the job...send it back!  Where else can you try the product and send it back if you don't get the results? This guarantee is only offered on specified products. These include:

  • All Static Electric Bark Collars
  • Containment Fence Products
  • Citronella Spray Bark Collars
  • Ultrasonic Bark Deterrents

​​To find out if your product has a performance guarantee, please locate the corresponding product page on our site and find the period of time the Performance Guarantee is applied for and any other conditions that may apply.  If you find the product does not offer a performance guarantee or an upgrade guarantee, then that product is covered by warranty only.

This guarantee is offered on a joint responsibility basis whereby the purchaser agrees to follow all instructions for use and training guidelines as outlined in the training manual.

If your product is not working for your situation, you will need to contact us on 1300 668 931 within the performance day time period and request an RMA Number (Return Merchandise Authorisation Number). To be eligible for your refund or upgrade, your product MUST be returned to our mailing address (19/33-43 Meakin Road Meadowbrook, QLD, 4131) within 14 days of receiving the RMA. As soon as we receive the product, we will process your refund/upgrade.

If the product does not perform at a satisfactory standard, Bark Control Australia will refund the receipted purchase price (less cost of consumables and postage) provided:

  • The goods are returned in resellable condition.
  • The goods are returned in their original packaging and with their accessories when possible (excluding citronella/lemon spray refills). The packaging must be retained and kept in good condition to claim any guarantee.
  • The goods are returned with your original receipt within the specified period from the date of invoice.
  • A processing fee of 10% of the purchase price will be charged on all returned items.
  • The purchaser shall also pay the cost of postal return unless the item is being sent back and getting replaced with an alternate product after consultation with Bark Control Australia.  In this instance, BCA will pay the return postage.
  •  ** PLEASE NOTE ** - The purchaser shall also pay the cost of all used consumables related to the original item purchased; e.g. replaceable batteries, collar straps that have been trimmed, items that smell like dog, spray refills and rolls of containment system wire and flags. Please avoid cutting the strap until you are confident the collar is working.
  • If your order is paid via Afterpay, a 5% processing fee is charged on all refunds when not upgrading. If you would like to upgrade under the performance guarantee, payment of difference in cost can be paid outright via Visa or Mastercard, or organised via Afterpay.
  • If the products and packaging are not returned in as close to new condition allowing for general wear and tear Bark Control Australia reserves the right to not refund anything.
  • All warranties are valid to the purchaser and are not transferable if the product is onsold.

How does your Price Match Guarantee work?

We guarantee to match any Australian competitors advertised price at the time of purchase (excludes auction sites).  This price is inclusive of all postage and handling costs.  Differing warranties, guarantees and terms of purchase through competitors are also taken into account when considering price matching.

Do your products have Australian warranties?
 

All products sold by Bark Control are covered by genuine Australian Distributor warranties

**NOW** ALL PETSAFE, INNOTEK, DOGTRA and SPORTDOG PRODUCTS HAVE A FULL 3 YEAR WARRANTY**

 

Unless otherwise stated all warranties are for 12 months from the date of purchase.  This warranty covers intrinsic component and manufacturing defects and excludes any defects due to misuse, incorrect procedures, tampering, incorrect maintenance, physical damage or misadventures. Damage from dogs chewing is not covered under warranty.

Bark Collars, Remote Trainers and Containment Systems supplied by PetSafe, SportDog Innotek and Dogtra will be repaired or replaced for a period of Three Years from original invoice date (DT System Collars which have a two year warranty only).  This warranty covers intrinsic component and manufacturing defects and excludes any defects due to misuse, incorrect procedures, tampering, incorrect maintenance, physical damage or misadventures. 

In no event shall Bark Control Australia be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of this Product.

Should your unit require servicing, please call us first on 1300 668 931 to check first if an operator can help you over the phone.

If your product must be returned we will provide a mailing address for the unit to be returned.  This might not be to our location for some products, but to the Australian service centre for the item concerned.

*All warranties are valid to the purchaser and are not transferable if product is onsold.

Do you have to send my product overseas to be serviced?

No.  All warranty and servicing is handled by Australian Distributors in Australia.  In fact all Dogtra products are serviced by Bark Control Australia by Australia's most experienced Dogtra technician.

Are electric collars legal in my state?

Whilst electric collars are now legal in most areas of the country, legislation differs in each state.  Please contact your local authorities for information on your local restrictions / requirements.  The decision to purchase and correct use of dog training equipment available from Bark Control Australia is the responsibility of the purchaser.  Please feel free to call on 1300 668 931 if you have any queries.
