Samoyed

Samoyed

Originating in Siberia, Samoyeds were often used as a hunting and sled dog. Samoyeds are happy by nature and adore the company of people and children! These dogs are happy to roam around and play in the yard, generally wearing the children out before themselves.

Samoyeds require a moderate amount of exercise to maintain good health, prevent boredom and prevent possible behaviour issues. Eager to please, Samoyeds excel at dog sports once initial obedience training has been completed. Care needs to be taken in warmer climates to prevent overheating and any other possible complications from warm weather.
