The Dogtra iQ Plus Training Collar is an entry-level short-range communication tool that allows you to confidently reinforce training commands and rectify disobedient behaviour on dogs above 5kg. The remote trainer has a maximum range of 360m and can be used as a 1-dog system or 2-dog system (with an additional receiver collar).

The Dogtra iQ Plus features 100 levels of low to medium static stimulation strengths perfect for small to large pet dogs and responsive working dogs with a mild to medium temperament. The system also features 'Nick', 'Constant' and 'Paging' functions. With its user-friendly design, you can confidently train your dog the way you need to.

How the Dogtra iQ Plus Dog Training Collar Works

The Dogtra iQ Plus' remote transmitter and receiver collar communicate with each using radio signals. When a stimulation button is pressed on the remote transmitter, the unit sends a radio signal to your dog's receiver and gives your dog the stimulation you have selected. With consistent training, your dog will associate the correction from the collar with their behaviour or a specific command.

Remote transmitter settings:

Rheostat Intensity Dial

The remote transmitter has a rheostat dial located at the top of the unit. This dial allows you to adjust through the 100 levels of correction as needed.

1-Dog / 2-Dog System

The 1-Dog / 2-Dog switch is located to the left of the Rheostat Intensity Dial. If you have a 2-dog situation, use this switch to select which dog you need to communicate with.

Nick Button

The 'N' button on the face of the remote trainer stands for 'Nick' stimulation. This programs the receiver collar to deliver a momentary stimulation regardless of how long the button is pressed for.

Constant Button

The 'C' button on the remote trainer stands for 'Constant' stimulation. This programs the receiver collar to deliver an ongoing stimulation for the duration of time the button is pressed for, for up to 12 seconds.

Pager (Vibration-only) Button

The 'P' button on the face of the remote trainer stands for 'Paging' stimulation. This programs the receiver collar to vibrate for the duration of time the button is pressed for. The Pager button is recommended for blind, deaf, or impaired dogs.
