Excessive pulling and straining on the lead is a common behaviour that makes walking unpleasant for both you and your dog. The SideWalker Leash Trainer uses vibration warnings and static stimulation to educate your dog on proper on-lead behaviour, while the self-teaching design allows you to take a back seat and let the dog work it out for themselves.
A pressure sensor sits under the collar strap and activates the correction once the dog puts pressure on the lead. The SideWalker can be set to automatically increasing Vibration (V), Low (1), Med (2) or High (3) static stimulation. The progressive stimulation mode (P) incorporates both vibration and static, beginning with light vibration warning and automatically increasing through the static stimulation if the dog continues to pull. Once the dog stops pulling on the lead, the SideWalker resets back to the lowest level of the setting you have selected.
