Add Another Dog to Your Dogtra X-Series System
Expand your compatible Dogtra remote training system or replace an existing receiver with a genuine Dogtra X-Series extra collar. Designed for reliable everyday training, each X-Series receiver provides precise stimulation control, powerful XPP vibration, audible tone and an integrated LED collar light.
The ARC-X, 280X and 1900X receiver collars are cross-compatible across the current Dogtra X-Series, allowing you to select a different collar size and output level for each dog without needing every receiver to be the same model.
This listing is for an additional receiver collar only. A compatible Dogtra transmitter is required. The product title and images above identify the specific receiver model supplied with this listing.
Mix and Match Dogtra X-Series Collars
One of the main advantages of the Dogtra X-Series is the ability to pair different receiver styles with a compatible X-Series transmitter. For example, you may use a compact 280X receiver for a smaller dog, an ergonomic ARC-X receiver for a medium-sized dog and a high-output 1900X receiver for a larger or more determined dog.
Different receiver models can be used within the same system, provided your transmitter supports the required number of dogs. Each additional receiver must be paired and assigned to the appropriate dog channel before use.
Operating Range
Your effective system range is determined by the X-Series transmitter being used, not by the receiver collar attached to the dog.
Fit and Output Strength
Choose the receiver collar according to your dog's physical size, neck size, temperament and required stimulation range.

Dogtra X-Series Extra Collar FAQs
Can an ARC-X collar work with a 1900X or 280X remote?
Yes. Current ARC-X, 280X and 1900X receiver collars are cross-compatible with current Dogtra X-Series transmitters. The receiver must be paired to an available dog channel before use.
Can I use different receiver models on the same remote?
Yes. You can use different X-Series receiver models to suit different dogs, subject to the maximum number of collars supported by your particular transmitter.
Will changing the receiver collar change my system's range?
No. The transmitter determines the system's maximum operating range. The receiver collar determines the physical fit and available stimulation output. Environmental conditions can still affect actual range.
Does this product include a handheld remote?
No. This product is an additional or replacement receiver collar. A compatible Dogtra transmitter is required for operation.
Will this work with older Dogtra models?
The X-Series Receiver Collar will pair in to the older version od 200/280C, ARC, and 1900/1902S remotes. However, some functionality may be limited. For example, the older remotes do not have a button to turn on the locator light.
Can I attach a lead to the receiver collar strap?
No. The training collar strap is not designed for lead attachment. Use a separate flat collar or harness for walking, restraint and identification tags.
