The Dogtra 282C Remote Trainer is a top-of-the-line static electric remote dog training system that delivers the strength and durability the Dogtra products are recognised for. The compact 282C training system features 127 levels of static stimulation suitable for pet dogs and working dogs. The collar also features the strongest non-electric vibration correction (high-performance pager), which makes the Dogtra 282C the perfect communication tool for training deaf dogs or very sensitive dogs. The 282C provides a reliable 800m maximum range and is fully waterproof and rechargeable.
The Dogtra 282C dog training collar consists of a handheld transmitter remote and a small receiver collar that the dog will wear. When you press a correction button on the remote, the transmitter emits a coded FM radio signal to activate the receiver collar up to a distance of 800m. The handheld transmitter provides 127 static electric correction levels, allowing you to increase the stimulation intensity in very small increments until you reach a correction level that gains your dog's attention.
Coding the black receiver:
1. Turn the transmitter on by pressing the on/off button and set the Rheostat Dial to 0.
2. With the receiver turned off, place the red dot on the back of the transmitter to the red dot of the black receiver. Hold the two red dots together until the green LED blinks rapidly on the receiver.
3. While the green LED is rapidly blinking on the receiver, separate the two
devices and press the two black buttons (front and side) simultaneously on the transmitter. The LED light on the receiver will blink every 4 seconds when coding is complete.
Coding the orange receiver:
1. Turn the transmitter on by pressing the on/off button and set the Rheostat Dial to 0.
2. With the receiver turned off, place the red dot on the back of the transmitter to the red dot of the orange receiver. Hold the two red dots together until the green LED blinks rapidly on the receiver.
