The SportDOG SBC-R is a premium, static electric bark collar suitable for all dogs over 5kgs and 6 months of age. The collar has ten levels of correction and suits all dog temperaments including stubborn breeds. It also has three distinct modes of operation (see below) and has an advanced vibration sensor to detect only your dogs barking. Being fully waterproof and rechargeable the SportDOG SBC-R is the gold standard of electric bark collars!
Suitable for all dogs over 5kg (based on adult dog) including, but not limited to the following breeds:
After correctly fitting this bark collar, the SportDOG SBC-R will detect your dogs barking through an advanced vibration sensor that detects the vibration of your dog's vocal cords when they bark. When your dog barks, the collar instantly delivers a safe static pulse stimulation through the contact probes.
Temperament Learning Mode (Dog Icon)
When your dog begins barking, the collar delivers a static stimulation at the lowest level (level 1). The collar increases the stimulation strength one level at a time with each bark within 30 seconds of the previous bark. The collar keeps track of the highest level used to stop your dog's barking. After 30 seconds of silence, the collar locks in this level. If your dog continues to bark, the collar will instantly deliver a static stimulation at the same level.
Progressive Correction Mode (Step Icon)
On this mode the collar starts at the lowest stimulation level and increases one level at a time when your dog barks within 30 seconds of the previous bark. After 30 seconds of silence, the collar resets to level 1.
User-Selected Correction Mode (Person Icon)
This mode is generally considered the most successful way to operate a bark collar. It allows you to manually set the collar to the static stimulation level you want your dog to receive when they bark. When starting out, always start on level 1 and work up one level at a time to find this level.
